Study on How People with Kidney Cancer Prefer to Receive Treatment

This study is exploring whether people with kidney cancer prefer to receive their immunotherapy treatment through an IV or as an injection under the skin. It also looks at whether it's practical for patients to have lab tests done at home and talk to their doctor via video call before treatment.

Program Overview
The study aims to find out if patients with kidney cancer prefer their immunotherapy treatment to be given intravenously (through a vein) or subcutaneously (as an injection under the skin). It also examines if it's feasible for patients to have lab tests done at home and consult with their doctor through a video call before their treatment day.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must be receiving standard treatment for kidney cancer, such as:
- NIVO alone after initial treatment with ipilimumab and NIVO
- NIVO alone as a single treatment
- PEMBRO alone or with belzutifan
- Must have received at least one dose of NIVO or PEMBRO as part of standard care
- Must have at least six doses of treatment left to receive
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Must be able to give written consent or have a representative who can
- Cannot be part of another clinical trial with investigational drugs
Providers:
- Medical oncologists treating patients in this study will participate by completing surveys
